Privacy Policy
Emergency Logistic Solutions Pty Ltd (ELS, we, us) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect. When you contact us or request a quote we collect the details you provide, such as your name, company, phone number, email address, site or event location and the nature of your enquiry. When we deliver medical services we collect health information about patients we treat, which we handle under our clinical governance framework and applicable state health records legislation.
How we use it. We use enquiry information to respond to you, prepare quotes and deliver services. We use patient health information to provide care, keep required clinical records, report to the client organisation where the law or the engagement requires it, and meet our regulatory obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Disclosure. We may share information with our clinicians and contractors engaged to deliver services, with hospitals, ambulance and retrieval services involved in a patient’s care, with regulators where required by law, and with service providers that host our website, forms and systems. Some of these providers store data outside Australia.
Storage and security. We store information in secure, access-controlled systems and keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above and for the retention periods that apply to clinical records.
Access and correction. You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you by emailing contact@emls.com.au. We will respond within 30 days.
Complaints. If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, contact us at contact@emls.com.au or 1300 549 006. If you are not satisfied with our response you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Website. Our website is hosted by Framer, which may collect standard technical data such as IP address and browser type. We do not currently use advertising cookies on this site.
